Chailling's Makeup and Hair

I thought my husband's mom looked 10 years younger!

"Hi Chailling,

I just wanted to thank you for doing an excellent job on my hair and makeup for my wedding in June. Thanks for being prompt and on-time (even ahead of time!), and working hard for 5+ straight hours to make sure everyone was done. I received nothing but compliments on my hair and makeup on the big day, even now people still comment on it. My makeup stayed on without a problem through the whole day, and my bridesmaids looked beautiful all day as well. You also did a great job on the mothers' makeups! I thought my husband's mom looked 10 years younger!"

Finally!

"Hi chailling! Thanks for the great lesson. I have been trying to use the lessons you taught me and will come back to you some point for another lesson!

Finally I have someone in the USA who can do Asian make-up right!”

"The "Joker" costume and especially the make-up was a huge hit at the party. Thanks again for your excellent work. It was a pleasure meeting you."

I applied the makeup for myself as a prostitute from the 80's. - Chailling -

You made me prettier than I've ever been!

Monday, September 20, 2010

Hi Chailling,

Thank you so much for a job well done on my hair and make-up. I cried tears of joy all day, and my make-up stayed fresh and wonderful, without needing any touch-ups! You made me prettier than I've ever been, and I am so thankful that I found you at that Bridal Show in Cerritos.
Best of luck with your art!

Skin care and hair tips for brides to be -

* Facials: If you don't get a facial on a regular basis, you probably don't want to risk getting one soon before your wedding day as you don't know how your skin will react to the facial treatment. If you want a facial, it's best to try one first a month before your wedding day. If you need another one closer to your wedding day, then get another one two weeks before your wedding day. You can also start using facial mask at home once a week for at least two months prior to your wedding day.

* Eyebrow Threads/Waxing: I suggest you not get your eyebrows threaded or waxed for a few days prior to your wedding day, especially if you don't have them done on a regular basis. Your skin might become irritated and/or there may be redness around your eyebrow area. It's best to get them done about a week before your wedding day. The best solution is to have your wedding makeup artist do the job for you. How do you know if she/he will do a good job? That's what a "makeup trial" is for!

* Food: Try not to eat anything that is deep fried, too salty, or too spicy at least for two months before your big day. Drinking plenty of water is always a good idea for your skin, but not on your wedding day as you don't want to keep going to the lady's room in your wedding gown. Eat lots of fresh fruits and rough vegetables for at least two months prior to your wedding day.

* Lips: Most people don't pay much attention to lips. In order to look sexy, you have to take good care of your lips. There are some lip care product on the market you can purchase. You might want to start using some to keep your lips moist at all times.

* Hair Length: Having more and longer hair is always a plus when it comes to wedding hair styling. I would advise against cutting or having your hair layered within 6 months of your wedding, unless you want a specific hair style for your wedding that requires your hair designer to shape it for you. Otherwise, the more hair the merrier.

* Hair Color: If you want to highlight or dye your hair, I suggest you do so before your "hair trial". That way the hair stylist can match the best hair style with your hair color and texture.

* Hair Condition: Wash your hair the night before your wedding day. Your hair will be easier to style.

Your makeup artist and hair stylist can only work with what you have. So work it, girl!
